Death respawn

I didn't want to put this in Mantis until I could check what should actually happen.

On death should the new character respawn in the current continents settlement?

x4000:
No -- you respawn in the last settlement you visited, whatever that happens to be.  Or if it's a mission that isn't failed by death, you respawn in the mission staging area, but that's just like battlefields and maybe a couple of others.

Hyfrydle:
So if you fail at a mission the death respawn becomes the staging area of that mission?

x4000:
Depends on the mission type -- if it's a battlefield, yes.

Hyfrydle:
What is the reason for not just respawning at the current continents settlement on death as I feel this would feel less confusing.
