Tier orbs

So I'm on tier 4, but I don't have any tier 4 orbs, and all the missions provide are tier 5...so how am I supposed to get better spells?

You will need to find enchants that reduce the tier of the orbs found to lower tiers when used in the head slot. I think theres an enchant for each of the lower tiers.

Yep. Diluter enchants lower the tier of the orbs you get to the tier of the enchantment. Just need to look through stash rooms!

I am curious as to what happened here. Did you do any missions at Tier 3? Have you just used up all your Tier 3 orbs and you need more? Did you have a diluter already equipped?

I had missions during tier 3, but idk why I didn't get more than 1 tier 4 orb.  I can't recall what I was doing tbh.

Hmm. It sounds like you may have actually had a diluter enchant equipped (it goes in the head slot) such that it was converting tier 4 orbs to tier 3 or tier 2.

That's the only way I can think of (aside from a bug, which we would want to know about) how you could possibly get to CP tier 4 with only having earned 1 tier 4 orb

It looks like I had equipped a tier 2 diluter without realizing what that would do with my rewards.  I doubt its a bug, except with my head, thinking it was a great idea to equip that in the first place.  I have a lot of tier 2 orbs so that's telling me its balanced heh.  (Because otherwise that would have been split out across the tiers).
