I asked this once before, and the response was that the achievements should all sync with Steam.  Starting a new world shouldn't be needed.

UPDATE: Codes (at least mine) still not working.

No need for the devs to worry. This is all on Valves end. Just posting to hold off any questions to the matter for now.

Aye, I tried the other day too. Still just get an error. I wish they'd be a little bit faster since I like tracking my game time. Yes, I'm wierd like that. Thankfully, I have a school project that is waaaay over due that is keeping me from playing.

I've linked this thread in my relevant post on the Steam forums for AVWW; I'd appreciate it if someone could post there as well when we are able to activate our keys in Steam. Thanks! :)

I'd like to be able to redeem on Steam so people can be like, hey, what is that game you are playing!! Wow, 336 hours playing it in the last two weeks, it must be good! :) Then they buy it and live happily ever after.

I guess I can always non-Steam game it.

I'm getting really annoyed at the fact I can't redeem this on Steam. Saying that its on Valve's end is becoming a lame excuse. On top of that the game isn't very good. I've been a huge supporter on Arcen Games but my loyalty is waning.

Uhh, it is on Valve's end. Arcen has given them what they need, it is entirely in Valve's court to get it on Steam. Arcen has no control over it.  You can email Valve's support and see what's up.

You're annoyed because, if I understand correctly, you're impatient to be able to activate on Steam, a game which you do not like!
