Baaaaah, I resemble that remark!

Not as much as if I had changed the title to have the preface "Wanderer & Bluddy proudly present : "

*snort*laugh*  Yes, we do tend to disagree on our preferences a bit, don't we.
... and then we'll have cake.

Is there a point to this?

Is there a point to this?

Humor?  Fun?  A good laugh at ourselves?

Joker: Why so serious?
... and then we'll have cake.

It helps when the "joke" initially seems less like a joke and more like a serious jab at the game. I thought the OP was just a troll hating on AVWW. :o It wasn't really an instant "haha" funny moment.

I'd consider myself to have a good sense of humour, but this just went right through me. (I mean I don't laugh at everything....)

Ah, nonono, this is utterly aimed at us, the fanbase, definately not the game.

I'm sure it was inspired by a few longwinded debates going on all over the place with pretty diametric viewpoints.  I know of one that Bluddy and I were participating in quite recently, as a point of fact.

I guess a better title would be: If AVWW were developed by committee...  ;D
... and then we'll have cake.

Yeah, I think my style of humor is a bit out there. I changed the title to hopefully clarify that it is a joke. I just took note of the stream of suggestions flowing in, and how they are often completely contradictory in their requests.

On an MP server: "Journey to perfection are too hard!"
In the bug tracker: "Journey to perfection are too easy!"
On the forums: "Journey to perfection missions are really boring!"

It reminded me of an old Family Circus panel that had Dolly (a young girl) looking proud of herself as she walked out of the kitchen, where her mom was preparing dinner. The caption was "Mom said it would take 20 minutes with my help and 10 minutes without my help!"

I disagree.

I think you'll find that we're actually agreeing pretty well here. :)

Somewhere, two robots on another planet just shorted out due to Star Trek AI overload.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm not sure what came over me, that's gotta be the first time I've taken something seriously in years.
