Color coding stats
« on: August 16, 2012, 09:43:03 AM »
Just looking for a little input to help figure out which colors will match with what so I can more easily design an interface for a game I'm making for work.

And done :)  I just picked Other -> Pink Polka Dots for all the questions.

Cool, thanks all.  I'll share results here in a little while (probably the end of the day).

Can't share the results directly (PRO only feature).  So doing my best, here.

(They were all the same size originally, Keith/Chris, what did the forum do? D: )

(The "other" colors were not that interesting, gray, one yellow, magenta, a burgundy, and one cyan (which I figured people would use light blue for))

Given that there are some conflicts, here's another poll.

Interesting results. :)

Indeed.  I was expecting white to make a larger appearance, either for stun or for special abilities.

I think the problem is that the color should be shown as reference next to the choice, and not just as word. People are inherently bad to link a word to a color without a direct link like so -> red

I mean, there is this famous trick where you are supposed to say the name of the actual color
blue red blue red blue red blue red blue red

I would if I could.  But I can't make color swatches.
