8.5k knowledge for a mobile grav generator that doesn't take up your initial ship unlock. A very nice trade in a knowledge-heavy game but not what I would call imbalancing.

We got an ETA on the next patch? Not being demanding or anything, just want to know when I can bring my current game back (just liberated a Dyson planet, disappointed with the backup I'm getting).

It's basically ready, though I think there may be some things Chris wanted to add from our recent discoveries in circumventing a few Unity bugs.  In general, this hasn't been a good week for finding time to do an AIW release :)

Like with doctorfrog, I am not trying to be demanding. Given the relative lack of activity on the forums, bugtracker, and release notes today on both AVWW and AI War, I'm guessing you are working on something big, discussing amongst yourselves about what to do/hammering out answers to tricky questions, and/or taking it easier on yourselves today (which you deserve ;)) In any case, I can understand waiting a bit longer. :)

I'm with this guy. I've got nothing but trust in Arcen, but my strat jones remain unquenched. ETA?

There is a plus side to this, I'm playing and enjoying Evil Genius for the temporary pleasure that it is. Lots of character, not a lot of room for real strategy. A fun diversion, and I wish they had a shot at a 2.0 version.

You're a good man, keith dot lamothe. I'll admit that strengthening AVWW really should be a priority over the next couple quarters, but it's good to see the focus swing back to the old workhorse of AIWar at a regular basis. Thanks for the update!

Probably too late for 5.035, but can the cloaked ships not being uncloaked by tachyon beams issue be looked at for 5.036? (one such report is http://www.arcengames.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=8018, though there are other reports about this bug)
It may not be very common about when it triggers, but when it does trigger, it is a near game breaker.

The uploaded save there appears corrupted; if someone has a save where this is reproducible I'll certainly take a look. 

It doesn't seem common enough to be very worrying, and I rather doubt it's new in 5.034, so I'm not particularly fussed about which exact update it gets fixed in.  But thanks for letting me know :)
