So yeah, ever since the new enemies got added, I haven't seen a single Esper aside from Lightning in the Desert Regions. Where can I find Espers now?

Deciduous forest and swamp -- so they don't even show up until continent 3 now, looks like!

It seems kind of odd to have "Kill Explosive Espers" as a challenge on Continent 1 then, doesn't it? This means you won't be seeing Boomsticks till Continent 3 at least...

Yeah, this is mostly true -- you will see espers in missions like battlefields and anachronisms even on continent 1.  Just not wandering around free on there.

The exploding ones are EVERYWHERE in the Lava Flats.

And something else just occurred to me....  am I the only one NOT seeing the T-Rexes in the Lava Flats anymore?   I just realized that, it's been JUST raptors, exploding espers, bats, and the bloody lion statues there.

I haven't been seeing any enemies other than bats in lava areas. Before I unlocked firebats there was absolutely nothing. I did a JtP mission and encountered nothing at all.

Oh yeah, the exploding espers are also in the lava flats now; forgot about that.

For the rexes, I know others are also reporting not seeing them.  I will have to look into that more, but it might be that there just isn't enough room for them to seed in many cases.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I think we need more espers. They are a good basic enemy type. Yea, before they were too common, but now they seem too limited in where they can spawn.

I imagine they will make something of a return.  But for now I think that I don't want to mess with them too much since folks were so sick of them.  1.1 pretty much has to be ready to go by tomorrow night.

So is one of the releases going to have Revenge of the Esper as a title? Or perhaps Return of the Esper?

All right, all right. ;)

* Some changes regarding espers and amoebas:
** Explosive Espers have been added to the deserts.
** Lightning espers have been removed from the swamps, and blue amoebas have been added in their place.
** Water espers have been added to the grasslands, and red amoebas have been removed from the grasslands.
** Blue amoebas have been removed from the pre-industrial forests.
