Raid Engines

I have usually just killed these off, but can I capture the planet they are on in order to neutralize the engine?

Or must it be killed? I got a Advanced Factory on the planet next to it, so its a peskything to have around :)

You have to kill it or it will launch attacks against the planet it is currently on. You don't want that to happen.  ;)
