AI Points extremly low

Sorry I have another question:
I just started a game and noticed that the AI has an extremely low amount of points (on the scoreboard). Usually the AI starts with upwards of 300k
Right now they are both under 5k (Ive been playing for about 15 mins maybe)

Did something go wrong in the campaign generation? Is this going to be an extremely easy game or should i disregard those numbers?

Im playing at 7.6 Difficulty btw

You could post the save for people to look at, but it might be a factor of the type of AI... or something.  That is quite odd, though.  You can look in the galaxy summary (the globe on the left of the galaxy map) to see how many total AI ships there are.  If there are very few, that would be a problem, but if the numbers seem right then no worries...

Well they have 18.600+ to my 165 on an 80 planet map.

that sound right? I am playing with random AI's though so I dont know what type they are. I suspected it could be the AI type.

Does that sound like a correct number?
