Pronunciation?

Is Tidalis pronouced Ti-dalis (sounds like Dallas, Texus) or Tid-a-lis (sounds like titillating)? ???

I think we've been calling it Tie-Dallas internally. When we came up with the name, a brief pronunciation discussion followed. Tie-Dallas was how Chris was pronouncing it and how I've been pronouncing it since, so I guess we'll call that the official pronunciation. ;)

Though tidal-is isn't horrible, either. It's the tid-al-is one that sounds really grating to most of us. :P

But yeah, sounds like tie-dallas has won out.

In french it's pronounced Ti-dal-is. Hahaha.

I had no idea we pronounced it Tie-Dallas in the intern! Silly french guy. :P

Well, in the 80s people were saying Marry-o as much as Mar-eey-o, so I think that's not limited to us. ;)
