FFs used to be way OP. You just had to add a scout SS, maybe one of those cheapass cloaker SSs, and ye olde *mobile* mobile repair station, and you could basically just have a large, nomadic fleet travelling all over the place with constant repairs and no way for the enemy to do anything about it.
