Cool Indie Space Trading Android Game
« on: February 18, 2011, 04:32:23 AM »
I have been enjoying this... Really enjoying it....

http://www.corytrese.com/games/startraders/

It is turn based space trading / combat / rpg game for Android. It has a kind of retro 2d feel with a lot of gameplay depth.

The reason I mention it here, apart from I think it would appeal, is that is has a pretty similar style community, it is an indie outfit that appears to be a two brothers type thing and they are really responsive to community feedback.

Also, I am getting addicted to the game - I am spending more time playing this game on my phone than games on my PC...

Anyway - There ya go.  I am also posting a link to AI War on their forum, as I think the two games would appeal to a common demographic without competing.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been wanting something like this for my phone, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

Of course, I lack a Droid... Oh well, shall keep this in mind until I get one. Unless of course they feel like compiling it for other systems ;D
