Six Gun Saga
« on: June 05, 2011, 08:39:08 PM »
Cryptic Comet released beta of his new game Six Gun Saga http://www.crypticcomet.com/games/SGS/Six_Gun_Saga.html

This one is single-player only but it might be appealing for those who liked earlier titles Armageddon Empires and Solium Infernum.

I've always been more of an admirer than active player of a lot of Vic's games.  Armageddon Empires is the only one I have a halfway decent grasp on, and I'd still by no means call myself "good".  Solium Infernum is one of those games I want to love but lack the materials and documentation I'd need to really get into it.

That didn't stop me from putting my money down for SGS, though.  Anything that keeps him making games is fine in my book.

Ok, I am now rather interested in this and will have to check it out.  I really, really wanted to play Solium Infernum after reading the gameplay journals on RPS, because it sounded ridiculously awesome, but I have no idea who I'd play with, and $30 each is a bit steep for something I might have a hard time even getting to play once.
