Depends on the range.  Avengers have a lot more of it.  But if the DN is waiting on the other side of the wormhole when the Avenger comes through it's a much fairer fight.  I don't think I've ever seen that in 1v1 though.  The DN always has friends, and it doesn't go well for the Avenger.

The military command station mkIII would probably handle it too ;)

It is well worth the price of admission. It's an amazing boss event. I'm hoping that future expansions will continue to add these kinds of encounters.

With the Fallen Spire option, I assure you there are greater threats the AI can send you. Ship(s) that can send at least 3 avengers crying to their programmer about obsolescence.

Economy Command Stations are for offense. Military Command Stations defense. Logistic stations are behind-the-line hybrids.
