No problem, glad you and others like it..

One thing I have added on other forums is:
On the bottom/top of a thread you get Reply, Notify, Mark unread, Send this topic and print.. buttons.

Would you like an "Active Topic" button,  It's the same as "Show unread posts since last visit", just saves you having to scroll up after each thread you read, often changed the "Show unread posts since last visit." to "Show Active Topics" ??

It's fine with me -- I wouldn't use it, but I imagine others might.

For x4000.

add attached to:
http://www.arcengames.com/forums/Themes/arcentheme/
to get a "Recent Posts" button top & bottom of each thread as above post.

Nifty, thanks!  I think people will like that -- it's in now. :)

Fixed "Code" background and "Hover" on input, see Nalgas post.. attached css file
goes in: http://www.arcengames.com/forums/Themes/arcentheme/css/

Heh.  You work fast.  It's already fixed before I got around to looking for what controls that.

The only other thing I've run into so far is that manually entered links in HTML editing mode like in this post are displayed using the same style as the plain text surrounding them (or at least a visually identical one), unlike the auto-generated links.  I only know that "This one" is a link because it always has been in every other update.

Not that I'm going around looking for more work for you to do or anything like that.  I'm a little surprised you appeared out of nowhere and just did all this, so thanks for that.

Try the attached ccs file. It changes links to gold and hover is white now. Has a nice side effect of making the threads/boards/posts a little bit more interesting and colourful.

Fairly new to the forum, yeah. But I've done quite a number of forum themes and help run a couple of sites, so it doesn't take long, plus it's good learning exercise.

If X4000 doesn't like it, I'll just do the post links instead.

Oh, forgot to mention.. The menus.

If you don't like the menus (Not the main one, but for example click on "Profile", then you get a set of cascading profile menus)
On the right hand side you'll see click on it and you'll get the old style side bar menus.. Works in admin panel also...

That definitely does improve the color of the forums!  Another nice one. :)

And good tip on the menus, though I actually do like the pull-down style.

Wow, I just noticed the new look of the forum, it's great! I especially like the pictures for games on the main forum page (although, the AVWW picture looks a bit too dark compared to the background).

And the top with the grey "dunes" is just amazing!

Just noticed what I assume is another bug in this theme. When viewing the topic lists for each forum, every topic of multiple pages has a 'next' button next to it, and this button always takes you to page 2 of the thread regardless of how long the thread is. Not sure how that got there, but I assume this is some code that is supposed to go at the bottom of the threads and not in the topic list.

Fixed in new version, but I'll wait and see if any other issues are raised before I give it to x4000.

I thought this place was shinier, and darker, than I remember. Every second forum having the 'blue-text, white background' tends to confuse me when I have a few of them open. Nice work.

Okay, that fix is in, but it still seems to be doing the same thing.  Hmm.

EDIT: Nevermind, the files didn't copy right. Fixed now!

This might seem nitpicky, but when you are sending a PM, there is an "add bcc" link and then there is a small question mark sign, that is supposedly opens a help topic about bcc. When you click the sign, a new windows open which has a "close" button but no text what so ever. I'm using the new theme.

I suspect the text is there, but just the same color as the background (or similar).
