This has been fixed in the new version. That cave entrance won't move, but you shouldn't find any more up in the air.

I hope the fix was to add more caves in the air! Per Kid Chameleon, floating islands are awesome.

Aww.  I thought the mid-air caves were kind of awesome, too.  I mean, if the entire world was shredded and put back together, and it's all made of magic anyway, why can't that little floating island be the equivalent of the TARDIS?

While neat, I think it was too counterintuitive to look for the way down up there.  I could say the same for some of the stairwell doors with needing to go down to the up stairs and up to the down stairs except that real buildings are like that sometimes.
