Well, sticking with the feudal theme ('cos, why not), you could have "Liege", "Duke", "Baron", "Vassal" or just "Lord"?

I like Baron, Vassal or Lord much better than Lieutenant hope no one takes offence at this.

Chief could be a good name for them as well, Leftenant or Lieutenant sounds like there is an organized militery working against the survivors, but chief seems to fit with the roving bands of marauders theme. Overlord is perfect though, gives the perfect impression.

I found this wonderful game due to your LP, I'd subbed after your Project Zomboid one.

This does seem to have gone rather off topic but....

'Baron' or 'Vassal' sound good.

'Lord' is too similar to 'Overlord', sounds a bit clunky.  If I'm understanding the lore right, these lieutenants were either beaten into submission by the Overlord or wished to serve them as a form of protection after discovering their power.

Could always go for 'Deputy HR Manager'.

This is great to hear. The reason I do Let's Plays is to get less well known games some exposure and show that people are still making games that aren't dummed down and allow strategic thinking and are just plain fun.
