You can remove a track so it won't be played if it annoys you. Can't recall the thread, but you just need to move/rename the track's file, which is located in the AI Wars installation directory.
And don't feel bad. I've played a ton of hours and honestly never noticed the electric guitar track until I read a post with someone complaining about it and now every time it starts I immediately notice.
