Ok, there are four major publically visible "sub-parts" of the forums.
/w The main page stuff
/forums The forums (duh)
/mediawiki The wiki
/mantisbt The bug tracker

Are these hosted on seperate servers?
Are there any not public parts of the site? (optional to answer, obviously)

It's all on rackspace.

There are some private forums (which aren't being use right now), and we had the AVWW mantis stuff private until we opened it up to the community.  There's also the website administration (content management, etc) stuff, if that counts.  I don't think there's anything else.

The reason for a lot of the subsections is that they use different software.

/w uses joomla.
/forums uses smf
/mediawiki uses mediawiki (the software)
/mantisbt uses mantisbt (the software)

Hence the subsections.
