Gate Travel not working

can someone please explain what i am doing wrong?

i stand beside the gate, open the region map, click on surface, click on the node with a gate that i already visited.... and nothing happens...
what exactly i need to do to travel between gates?

That should be all that's needed. Do you get the text "Press E to show warp instructions" while standing in front of it? You don't need to do so, but that'll at least indicate that you're standing at the right place.

Hmmm, my son said he found one that wouldn't let him warp last night. Every gate he's found before and since has worked, but he said there was one that didn't. Is it possible that it's the one gate not working kesvalk?

If anyone finds a particular gate that doesn't work (which really shouldn't be possible, but still), I'd love to have it.
