It has been awhile but today I decided to get back to attempt at video editing.

I went ahead and tried a trail version of Sony Vegas and the end result is this.

I have been inactive on this forum for awhile, but I have returned for some help.

To fool around and waste time I have been recording game play with fraps.
The problem isn't fraps, I can record videos taking up to 2 gigabytes for a measly 1minute video. So they are coming out very high quality.

Now the problem is my video editor, Obviously to reduce the gigabytes I shoved the footage into Windows Movie Maker which worked like a charm.
I somehow degraded the quality too low but when I max out the quality in the options its only 50mbs for the file size.

It is a bad quality, so I would like you guys to recommend me what to do. ^_^
Although I do have a feeling its the movie maker, but I just like to get involved with the forum again asking this small favor.

After the first time it happened my coop team decided to leave planets with zgens with no command center.
So I won't be reproducing it anytime soon.

Haven't you tried that Polarizer ships yet?
I'm pretty sure they ignore armor and have an attack boost based on targets armor.

If the cross planet wave goes straight for your command center I may have to recommend this.
Helms Deep

You could try that, although it was designed for before 4.0, but I have been using with great success still.
I only recommend 50 or less spider and sniper turrets for each.

You should be able to get away with no trader items like I have.
I got away with my first CPA by doing my helms deep, then placing additional turrets at the wormhole.
The wormhole turrets being mainly MK1 gravity turrets and lightings.

I haven't tried this yet but how about making a ring of forcefields around the wormhole so the ships are contained in a small perimeter.

They will also have a red outline if they are paralysed.
Paralysis is stacks, I suppose it is possible for it to get paralysed for a long duration.

Should be listed along with if its engine dead when having your cursor over it to look at stats.

For heavier and higher mark guard posts my buddy has been using bombers as escorts for the siege starships.

Then when they all enter the target system, siege and bombers go after one target. This way if the target isn't destroyed by the siege ships but only needs a couple more shots, the bombers will get the job done.

Is the warp jammer working as intended?

My team had warp jammers on planets with Zenith Power Generators.
We popped a counter wave and it targeted the warp jammers.

I was pretty sure that counter waves were "waves".

I'll probably add this to tractor once I get some answers.

I dunno, some guy kept using it on the minecraft forum.
I thought it was funny.

-Ever wonder what the cloaked AI ships are that your constantly shooting? Have your ship target one and the target it will prefer will be the type of the cloaked ship!

This sounds more like a bug than like a tip ;-)

Well, at least its not a trailer that shows this REALLY awesome game but then when you play it it's nothing like the commercial both graphically and gameplay.

^This reminds me.

Holding down V + Shift will make a ship go into free-roaming mode while going to the points you've selected. This is especially useful for decloakers.
Whenever a decloaker comes upon a cloaked ship, it will stop to engage the new target then continue back on its designated route after the target is destroyed.
