Latest and greatest AIWAR working fine on my old G5 here. We ARE out here. So a big thank you. I had to figure out the line endings on the installbuilder.sh but that info wasn't too hard to find.

AI War / Empty Keys

It seems like almost every key does something. What keys are empty? I am looking for good ones to bind to media player controls & ventrilo. Any suggestions would be helpful. I guess I could print out a keyboard map and check off the ones from the manual...

AI War Technical Support / Drop IN/OUT Questions
« on: December 27, 2010, 06:16:56 PM »
Let's say my friend and I would like to have an epic loooong game which we both expect to last several weeks/weekends. What is the best way to organize this? To clarify, due to work schedules, we will only be able to play together on weekends, but would have some time to play individually during the week, preferably on the same game. I read that switching hosts is possible and also about the drop in/out features but I haven't seen anything that addresses this directly. I have just gotten the game and haven't even started the tute yet so I guess the answer may be obvious, but this post may be useful to others considering purchase.

In theory it seems like it would work like this:

The person who has time to play alone soonest needs to host the current session. During the week a short "switch host" session would need to take place before the other person has time to play solo. The last person to play alone starts the weekend session.

Are there any downsides to playing this way?

The drop in drop out save/resume features were a big pull for my purchase.
