In each of the nebula scenarios, is there anyway to manage to unlock more modules for your champion?  I know for the mourners you can destroy extra prisons to get more goodies (total prisons destroyed early or amount destroyed simultaneously?).  Does saving small stations in all of the battle scenarios help at all?

 The AI war wiki is a little sparse on the issue.

A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 / Boss woes

Is anyone else having a lot of trouble against the bosses in the most recent update?  Most specifically the bats who are a whole lot faster and immune to knock back now. Im guessing how you fight them is to dodge them at the last second so they miss and take their sweet time coming backing around, taking that opportunity to attack. 

The problem with this strategy is that 1) The turning radius of the bats seems to be near infinite when they are really close to you making dodging near impossible and 2) Every time they hit you they heal themselves for what ever Ive volleyed at them over the past few moments.  So I can't stock up on 3 dozen potions and win a battle of attrition.

I know I could just lower the difficulty, but it occurs to me that Im missing something conceptual about these battles and lowering the difficulty will just give me bad habits.

Just to note: Im fighting bats the same level as me with mostly up-to-date spells

I just noticed that you posted a change log of your current work on AVWW up on the arcen wiki and the amount of work you've done over the past few days is quite amazing.  This post also exists to advertise the existence of the change log to those who are interested :D :P

AI War / Spirecraft Ion Blaster - Does anybody use them?

I was considering to get 2 mk2 Spirecraft ion Blasters to act as a defensive reserve hitting special forces troops as they wandered into my systems along with handling small threat incursions.  I ended up deciding against it for siege towers which would be more universal.

So I'm curious if anybody uses/used Ion Blasters and what their thoughts/preferred roles are for them.  I don't see them as a very good blob ship until you get your hands on ebonite (mk3) or higher ....

AI War / Spirecraft Sapper and Shield Pulse?

I was poking through the game sprites and found pictures of the Spirecraft Sapper and of the Spirecraft Shield Pulse.  Im assuming there is a perfectly good reason for them not being in the game but is it alright to ask what these Spirecraft actually do/did? :D

AI War / Raid Engine Troubles ...

In my current game Ive got 3 systems in a triangle pattern each with a raid engine (one of which on a core world).  I can hit all 3 within a minute using Jumpships but cant survive the resulting attack.  Im not thinking this is not solvable in my case (no Fallen Spire, Spirecraft or Golems I have to trigger 2 of the engines to get to one of the Homeworlds) after trying a couple of times to survive the resulting attack.

Im curious to know how other players handle overlapping raid engines.
