AI War Technical Support / Hostile Dyson Sphere bug?

I just briefly captured a planet to claim the Armor Inhibitor that was on the Dyson Sphere (playing against 2 Shield Ninny so there are a lot of them) but during the few seconds I was holding it, the Dyson spawned a wave of 5 hostile to player Gatling, like it was under the effects of new Hybrid structure(have hybrids off in this game). Is this a bug or was that a change to make all hostile spawns be groups of 5? I can get a post save and likely a save before if you need it, but I did not want to throw this up in the tracker unless I knew it was a bug for sure.

Almost 7 hours after I finished the ExoGalactic Transmitter, I am not sure if the Spire are going to be able to take the last homeword on their own. They keep dying in a combination to all the hunter killers that the AI spawns in each Exo waves and a Devourer Golem. And I am only playing it on 7/7. At first it looked like they would never get past the first homeworld, but after a while they cleared most of the map, but the last Homeworld seems to be too hard for them.
