Works great, though its not exactly what you want when you mean "silence" ;pThe description seemed to suggest otherwise, but that'll teach me to not actually read the details before posting. Oh well.
Take your time and release when it is ready, im sure it will be worth the waitI see no problem with doing this and taking my money now.
And I'll be the first to admit that Zelda 2 was the most frustrating game in the entire series. One of the most frustrating I've ever played. The combat was okay in parts but mostly was really fiddly, the difficulty was insane, the final dungeon was just absolutely crazy... *cut here because the point is made*
The thought of a wave countdown timer stalling out at 0:00 or going negative is a little unnerving.I don't save-scum...I play super-prudently insteadHmm, I'll have to add "Not gunna do it, wouldn't be prudent." to the AI taunts list for when it chooses to not send some big swarm through a wormhole until the odds get better
But the traitorous aspect is awesome. It's like playing Arkham Horror on the winning team. And you (most of the time) don't even know what team you're actually going to be on for half the game. Which is awesome.
Well, there's always give and take with anything, good and bad parts to every idea. We've just been working on refining things to what should lead to the most internally-consistent world that supports all the mechanics that we want without going crazy on the scope, etc. Should be good.I don't necessarily disagree. My misgivings are extremely minor and grounded in a very limited sentimentality for the image I once held. Don't pay them any serious heed as if you went through the trouble to change it then you're clearly seeing something that an outsider like myself cannot, and my faith in your decisions is absolute.
Oh, and if you like lightning spells, you ain't seen nothing yet. This pleases me more than you can possibly imagine. Throw some ice in as well and I'm set for life. The ball lightning is basically a re-skin of the fireball spell with some slight other differences, but I have much more distinctive kinds of lightning planned. Expect an unusual variety of spells.
