AI War / Re: Do exo-galactic waves ever reach a cap on intensity?

I'm vaguely horrified about how slowly you guys run into H/Ks - I tend to play 2 HW/4 Champs and get MK Is in the Golem/Spire exo waves from the get go.

Well spoken Tech.

Well done on the release guys - I imagine you'll be looking forward to a well deserved short break soon? :3

I use ESDF instead of WASD

I loved you by this line, the rest was just icing. :)

A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 / Re: Would anyone be interested...

I'd be interested. As far as systems go, I really like what Claude Smith did with the Heaven's Feel RPG based off the Nasuverse. It's Unisystem at base, but with the Natures and Demeanour systems from WhiteWolf games modified to fit. Really good on a character driven level, which I feel an AVWW game would be well suited to. Not really a system to use per-se, but a very good example (in my opinion) of a homebrew system done well. :)

Ooh, smart thinking there. Then all I have to do is not get knocked off and deal with their level advantage. Thanks. :)

I can't deny that's solid advice.

So, what's the best course of action if you have a coastal settlement and some rampaging monsters are sitting in the 5 levels higher than me ocean tile beside it? >.<

Based on Arcen Games general policy:

You can install it as many times as needed, over any mixture of platforms, provided it's for your own use.

A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 / Re: How is resource consumption calculated?
« on: September 27, 2011, 04:05:27 AM »
I too fell into the trap of inviting more people than my farms can support, but really the thing that bothers me in terms of resources is the fact that the Quarriers' Guild costs a full 200 Granite (and to a lesser extent, the Woodcutters' one costing 200 Cedar). Cedar is easy to pick up, but Granite outcroppings aren't that frequent and only give 1 Granite. I'm still short about 30, and I really can't spare that Granite for farms to un-FUBAR my settlement.

Just an off chance, but if there are any guarded granite areas within 3 squares of your settlement you can defeat the guards then have a citizen grab a (one time? pretty sure it is) bulk harvest.

I use one too and it does work rather well for AVWW; sadly though, when I booted up Ventrillo to talk to a friend, I accidentally used all my mana potions before I realised they were on the Push to talk button. :(
