Tidalis / Steam cloud support

Planetary Shield Inhibitor or equivalent perhaps?

seems like there is a planet armor inhibitor...and has super large health even sending 1k fleet attacking it for 1 min could only damage 2% of its health..this is insane man!

i can't kill it in time since the ai home world's planet filled with mark Vsss

FF's need supply to work so you'll have to have captured a planet next door to the AI Homeworld to be able to use them there.

The only Mark V/Core ship you can't tag for reclamation should be Core Bombers which is a known issue.

If you're still trying to kill the AI Homeworld using mark II units I'd suggest backing off for a while & gathering more knowledge so you can unlock mark III (and get mark IV free if you have captured an Advanced Factory).

i can't. The thing is im playing snake type map, and now i've reached the stage where the next planet is ai's home world. Subsequent planets seems to have some ai too..and i've already used up all the knowledges in the previous planets. since i cant pass through ai's home world to the next planet..my mission now is to get rid of its home command centre and win!! :P but 15 in game hours into it and i still can't figure out.

i could build mark v equivalent ships though through the space dock but that cost alot..and i also have hive golem and microparasites human ships though. now not too sure how to balance everything up.

correct 75% reduction is enough  :P
Bring engineers and MRS for repair.
With multiple FF when one gets knocked down you can turn it off and 3 sec later your eng and MRS will repair it, Turn it on and turn off another for repair and repeat. With 3 or more ff you may actually get them to heal w/o powering down. depends on the incoming fire

hey, i can't seem to use FF on the ai home world!!!! arruggghhh..this is insane! What kinda easy mode is this????

the moment my FFs step into it, it won't even have te shield up. Not too sure whats going on..i didn't see any special units stopping it though.

also, i can't see to use leech units to tag mark V ships..is this normal?

the idea behind using mass FF is that while your units will only do 25% damage, they will suffer 0% damage! A large blob will still inflict heavy casualties at 25% DPS, while suffering far less losses.

FF effect won't stack if they overlap each other?

time to mass FF and see if it works!

pop starships, specifically leech starships in and out of the wormhole, just long enough to fire a salvo and escape before the mass driver does too much damage. this will cause all the nearby ships to a) be marked for reclaimation and b) be freed, and to attack you. they attack you, you capture them, the AI garrison is reduced. repeat this until nothing is nearby.

capture an adjacent planet and build lots of FF. send them all through the wormhole to the enemy system with your fleet inside. shred all the enemy ships that attack the FF until the garrisoning AI ships are gone, then use mass bombers to take down shields. have your spaceports on the adjacent planet rapidly replacing losses and rallying to the AI homeworld so reinforcements are constant.

it's hard...because I only have mark II ships :P and I thought FF actually reduces the firepower of the units within it? Does it make it worse if we stack alot of FF over the units? would the effect of 25% (or 75% i can't remember) stack up?

i tried alot of things, even throwing nuclear bombs at them but they're immune and it's damn hard. We had around 1.5k units hitting each other back and forth and finally reduced to 600+. But not long after our fleets came up to 1k plus again..and i've been doing this over and over again for 3 days it's just getting impossible

ive been trying for 2 days but i can't seem to find a cool combination to take out AI home planet's mark V ships and its force fields..any advice??  :o

i tried to disable AI home's planet shields with it..reading the descriptions it would seem to be able to bring down the shields but it didn\'t happen. What's going on?

I'm really not sure what's going on, it doesn't sound like they are really hidden.  Are they just not showing up on the planetary summary sidear?  In that case, you just need a scout with you.

wait...i think it's me not loloking properly. I was sending 1.5k units over and somehow it accidentally hid the black hole guy :P now i can succesfully destroy it!!

11 hours...and finally gonna crush the AI's home world!!

They shouldn't be invisible unless you're playing against something with a planetary cloaker, or perhaps the camouflager AI type.

im playing the random easier type and didn't change anything on AI's behaviour.

how do i counter this? how do i reveal the units?

Probably you've run into a black hole machine on that planet -- if you kill it, you can then have your ships escape. :)

oic..ok, so i tried to kill it but it seems to have went into invisible mode as soon as my ships enters the planet. So i tried building some scout starships that's supposed to reveal it but it doesnt work....that's the only way to reveal the black hole machine right?

i can't seem to get out of ai's home planet after moving into it even though i kept ctrl+right click. it didn't happen before..is this a bug?

Did you pop a Counterwave Guard Post or was your Homeworld in the border of your empire?

I hope you save often and if not maybe you could load the autosave?

yeah i popped counterwave guard post! i thought killing it would prevent wrapping from happening???

Killing it causes it to spawn a wave on any of your worlds which do not have a warp jammer.

As does killing the Comm Station on its planet.

but its a one time thing right?

I usaully use realistic maps myself, so that gives me more options of how I expand and such, but a snake map definatly has a different challenge to it when it comes to AIP and getting to the AI, and being lazy makes it even harder ;P

i actually started with snake maps cause i thought it's an easy win since i don't have to think too much... until i found out about AI warping's abilities !!!!
