As I could see, this weekend we were four people on saturday, but nobody was online on sunday. That game took about 9 or 10 hours of gameplay.
Probably it would be best then to only meet on saturday (5PM Berlin time, see earlier post) and play a long game on that day or split that game up in two parts, one half on saturday and one on sunday if more people vote for this alternative.
Another help is to speed that game up (num-keys + and - ) or set other game options (for example: fast paced combats). For me it wouldn't be a problem to play it on speed +10, but some prefer game speed +-0 all the time.

Hey guys, I'm the german one mentioned in the first post. Actually I am the one who is more interested in searching for people for playing AI Wars.
We tried once yet to meet on saturday, was't very successful. But we can keep trying, especially on weekends when working folks have their free time. We could try to meet every saturday and sunday 5 PM Berlin-Time, so that americans and europeans are able to play together: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
