You just put out a major release. This is when we get the chance to make the most sweeping changes and test them for long periods.  ;D

Do you mean to say your spire capital fleet (with DN and BBs) can't just sail straight through AI space wherever it jolly well pleases, at this point?

Won't I still trigger Deepstrike threat? (or does that just attack my fleet?)

Only in fullscren mode.

Nope. Still autoplays in normal viewing.

So, I pushed out, build my fifth city, and then built the Galactic Capital (no response Exo?). Unlocked Battleships and the Dreadnought. Man is that thing huge (with an even larger icon).

And then it scanned for the final shard.

Which is on a place called Preliumtarn, marked with P0:

Sure is doom to my FPS. Even when I attack a planet on the other side of my empire that massive group decides it wants to send some forces over and my system starts to crawl.

You have to unpause after giving the attack order, give it a fraction of a second to start moving, THEN give it the third-step move order.

I have all my FS ships in my current game pretty heavy on Railguns, and I fight Sentinels, so I do this a lot.

P8's are Advanced Factories, P9's ARS's, and P6's Data centers. Still looking for the AI Homeworlds. Should be easier once I push up into those neutral planets and put down my fifth city. (Waiting on the current Exo before I do that.)

The sad thing is that there's quite a few people who would actually hit Alt-F4 to try it out.
Which is why "Press 'k' for minimap" is so hilarious to type into the chat in Tribes:Ascend, and then watch the spam of suicide notifications in the kill log. xD

There's a couple more, but I'm blanking on them right now.

In my new game the Special Forces seem to be the greatest threat from the AI. The other things are minor.

I am playing Fallen Spire though.  :P

Would that be a system-wide Gravity effect on human ships only if they outnumber the AI?

That doesn't sound too bad on it's own, but combine that with other things like, an Attritioner or Ion Cannons...

A bunch of other types will have to get adjustments if you remove armor. The swarm types generally have lots of armor piercing that will no longer help them swarm and kill big targets. Things like Raiders and Youngling Vultures. Also the planetary armor boosters and inhibitors will be gone, removing two great things from the trader and removing an entire AI type.
