Haha I'm sorry if that's confusing! I guess in my experience "Extended Edition" at least when it comes to music, means more tracks.

In films it definitely means more footage.

AVWW Vol. 2 is now going to be AVWW 2.

The idea behind it is that the world was once beautiful, darkness crept over it, and now there's someone who will fight to make it how it used to be.

The choir in the background has 12 voices (me dubbed over a ton of times), then 6 more voices of war chants (grunts of different kinds essentially). The main melody is sung by my wife, and you can faintly hear my voice in the background towards the left speaker as well. This was a ton of fun to do, and the first track with actual lyrics in it.

Hope you guys enjoy it! And stay tuned for the release of AVWW 2.

If you're interested in the story line of the album, just read the story lines in the AI War Wikis for each expansion. It tries to follow the history of AI War.

Yep! That's the idea. Whispers of hope. The motif of hope throughout all the OST's is the original AIW Theme as well as the Ancient Shadows theme which is introduced in "A War Worth Fighting" and is also in Whispers Of Hope.
