This is why.

See, this never happens with AAA games. You're expected to enjoy the game, and if there's any bugs, they MIGHT fix them if enough people shout on their forums about how "broken the game is". Here I simply stated that I think this doesn't work, provided some testing and asked if anyone else experienced it. Shadow (the dev) sees the post, looks it up and goes "Cripes, he's right!", fix the next patch, scheduled next week.

It's the same with Arcen. Guys, never stop being this awesome, k?

Tidalis / Why did Tidalis "fail"?

I've been trying to wrap my head around this, but I just can't really get it. Tidalis is a great puzzle game, heck even I who absolutely hate puzzlers, sunk over 6 hours on it, and that's saying something for me. It has massive content, multiplayer and is ridiculously cheap. By all that is holy, it should've sold a lot more than it did.

Was there too much content? Was it not unique enough? (I have trouble believing that) Did it come at the wrong time? Should it have been a mobile game?

I've found myself sinking a lot of time into Auralux lately. It's very simple, yet keeps pulling me in. Anyone of you tried it? It's available for Windows and Android, AFAIK.

So yeah, seeing as we have a bunch of MOBA players on this forum, I'm wondering what you guys think of SMITE. Have you had a chance to play it yet?

It's MOBA so I won't touch it, but I'm still curious how well it does since I happen to like the creators (Hi-Rez also made Tribes:Ascend)

The graphics might be a bit wonky so far, but the team looks experienced, and I'm definitely behind their "RTS:s of today SUCK!". There hasn't been a proper RTS to play since the TA/SupCom days (I'm not counting AI:War as an RTS. It's AI:War, a genre on its own). This looks intriguing. Will follow with interest.

AI War / Am I stupid, or unlucky? (Can't find nebulas)

I've been playing with champions for a while. One Home+Champion game started fresh and one MP game with my friend as Home+Champion and myself as Champion only. I have a problem. I haven't found a single "blue" wormhole in over 40 systems scouted. Is there a specific thing I have to do to make them appear, or are they simply supposed to show up on systems, because I cannot find any.

Okay, so I decided I should probably listen through the entire tracklist of AVWW, and here I find a track with THIS name? I thought "WTF, this has to be some really wierd crap I've never heard." and then plays that tune. O_o

Pablo, y u do this? Your music is so freaking awesome I won't listen to anything else for a week now! (Okay, I lie, "Harmony of the Hunter" and "Frozen Synapse OST" will likely compete)

This one snuck its way into my speakers today, and I was all like "O_o". Seriously, I hate this type of music, but damn it didn't stop me from laughing and starting the grooves. Awesome tune, Pablo! You never cease to amaze me.

Off Topic / The Polyphasic Project

So tomorrow is my first day of a four week vacation, and the first day of "The Polyphasic Projectâ„¢"

I will attempt the Uberman sleep cycle for four weeks and see if I can achieve a polyphasic lifecycle. Wish me luck! I will, if I can, video document the project wether I succeed or fail.

Seriously, you'd be rather crazy not to pick those two up now. If only to get the absolutely kick ass soundtrack in both high bitrate MP3 and FLAC.

The soundtrack can be bought separately, if you absolutely want. But the game is great too and you get the soundtrack with the game if you buy it.

I cursed out loud at this and ragequit the game. Not kidding. I'm literally fed up to death with this. Can we please fix this somehow? It's just not fun anywhere. There is no way you can defend against it, suddenly you just blow up out of nowhere in the middle of combat with 0% chance of avoiding it.

I have no idea what those shrapnels are supposed to add to the game. Environmental hazard? Sure, but please make it something that doesn't drop a tactical nuke on your head out of nowhere.

So can someone, in short, describe what the difference between these are these days? They used to be limited in "level of awesomeness", but with the addition of the subplots and iterations over the latest 5.x betas, they've gotten quite a few changes. What can I expect?
