Summary0010357: Collision ejection overcompensates frequently
DescriptionWhen ships try to move away from each other when they are colliding with each other, sometimes they severly overcompensate. In these cases, they seems to move away for 2-3 seconds (often times making half a planet's space's radius in distance) before turning back and getting closeish to their destination.

IIRC, the logic is supposed to be that the only move away a little bit, check again, and if they are good, try to move back a bit if they got too far.


Seems more likely to happen when large numbers of ships are trying to get to roughly the same area.


Check out EX-SPIRE ARCHIVE in the save to see some ships in the middle of doing this.
