| Description | I just had a game, where it happened that my influence with the Skylandians couldn't get positive (I mean, the number wouldn't go up despite doing missions that said it it would add influence). However the influence could still go down as normal. The same happened later with the Acutians. | ||||

People in the Steams forums have been complaining about this too. |

Adding in my two cents with this - I think it might be correlated with a fear empire. Another user reported that it occurred after one appeared, and I know my game has the same issue with a fear empire present. |

I too believe this has to do with the fear empire, another player on the forums also confirmed it happened with a fear empire in the game. |

i have it too, no one fear empire occured, just skylaxians and andors fought each other |

Thanks! * Fixed a couple of confusing things with hostile alliances: ** On "The Betrayed," added a clarifying note to its tooltip stating that no further influence can be gained with that race. ** On Fear Empires, there was previously a rule saying that while it existed, you could not gain any influence with ANY other races. That has been changed so that you just can't gain influence with the Fear Empire race, and the tooltip now reflects that. ** Previously, you could not gain influence with Smuggler Empires, but now you can. |
