I looked at the save, and looked at the tech screen to get a rough idea of how many techs you already had, and then looked at the list of techs I could research with the race of the planet you were docked at (Skylaxians, iirc)... and I realized that I really didn't have a specific problem to check for :) Can you tell me where, specifically, the game is telling you that you cannot research a tech because it requires you to have a certain # of other techs first, but you've already got at least that many? Thanks :) |

This reporter may just be dumb, lol. I loaded up the game again to look for specific ones and saw I had all the appropriate technologies that I remembered researching, but this time I noticed that there were both date and researched-tech number requirements for the ones I was thinking were bugged, and I hadn't yet reached the date in question. For some reason I thought I was at year 19 when I was only at year 17, and 18 was the unlock date. So that may have been entirely PEBKAC. Thanks for looking into it! |

No problem, thanks for the follow-up :) And I think any bug with this game would be PEBKAC: the only question is "whose keyboard and chair?" :) Yours, mine, some dude at Unity3D, etc. |
