| Description | The Science Research rates are buggy. 1. The gains from research outposts are wrong. Example numbers from my game just now from the Skylaxians 0 outposts = 600 1 outposts = 1000 2 outposts = 6000 3 outposts = 31000 2. The differences between the "haves" and the "have nots" is too extreme. The Burlusts have a research rate of 8.7 whereas the Skylaxians have a research rate at 600 (without any of the glitchy research outposts). I'm not sure this is the ended differences between races. | ||||

Looking in your game now, I see the Burlusts with science of 1.4 with one science-boosting tech and no outposts, and the Skylaxians with 121.3 with one science outposts and 5 science-boosting techs. The Andors have two science outposts and 4 science-boosting techs, and then a science rating of 19.2. So the outposts really aren't a big factor as they were when you originally made the report. The difference between the Andors and the Skylaxians is their inherent skills with technical matters, and the Burlusts are so far behind both because of their lack of technical prowess and their extreme lack of any real focus on technical upgrades. |
