As with the linked issue, I can't duplicate this in 0.527. Will be curious if there are specific steps to undertake, or if it's just been actually fixed already at this point.

I will test and report tonight. It was still an issue on the last patch.

Still an issue in 0.527 to test I just entered a low level area TAB targetted an enemy then tried to place a platform. Without TAB targetting the platform is placed where the mouse cursor is. With TAB targetting the platform places seemingly randomly and I also found I could only place one platform whilst TAB targetting.

If you want I will record a vid to show the issue.

Not sure why this was closed as I'm still having the exact same issue in the latest build. If I place a platform without targeting it places where I want it. When targetting the platform seems to place off to the right or left dependent on where I click to place.

seems unfixed in the current build, platforms are still placed at the target reticle's location instead of at the mouse cursor

For 0.934:

* Fixed a longstanding bug where tab-targeting was impacting the deploy-item ability (which is used for placing platforms, crates, etc) despite it specifically having the flag that makes it ignore tab-targeting.

Thanks :)
