Summary0006425: Background objects (mineables/resource deposits) have too much health
DescriptionAfter the recent general difficulty rebalance, background objects are much too strong.

As this doesn't actually add to the difficulty (and ins't explicitly mentioned in the release notes) I assume it's a simple oversight.

I will throw in a comment on this, too. Huge health increase for background objects this patch...

I just want to say that I think some background objects *should* have high health. It's silly when a huge tower thing is suddenly destroyed from one or two hits. There needs to be heavy differentiation between solid, massive objects and light objects.

* Fixed a longterm bug where non-combat background objects were having their healths buffed by difficulty level. This was never really much of a noticeable issue until the last release, but now it was super annoying.


Bluddy, to your comments: I absolutely agree, but that's really a separate issue from what was going on here. If you see examples of things that you think should have more health than they do, by all means I'd love to hear about those. We've done some things of those in the past, but there's more that still needs to be done there I'm sure.
