| Summary | 0006982: Multiplayer Graphical Mismatches | ||||||||||
| Description | A couple different, possibly related errors. First one comes when walking through doors. When I walk through a door and then the other player follows immediately after, they seem to "fky" across my screen. What seems to happen is while they are loading the new room, the reappear at the point on my screen they were at in the previous room and then quickly fly to the location of the door. Second is projectiles failing to appear correctly. For one the speed seems to be different - my projectiles move much more slowly on her screen and vice versa. Secondly, some projectiles don't appear to move at all. Miasma Whip just appears as a purple circle, and launch ice rock causes the rock to appear above her head, rest a moment, and then explode. Both of these errors appear to be graphical only, as far as I can tell. | ||||||||||

These sound like issues of lag, and I'm not sure if there is a whole lot that can be done about them. But maybe there is some smoothing that can still be done. |

It's not a lag issue; at least not the first one. The starting position of the character is not being set properly when they are moved into the chunk. For the second one, that's particularly odd and I'm not sure why that would be. |
