Is there still anyone in that region? Missions won't expire if any player is still in the same region with them. |

No, this was in single player. |

I loaded the save and yes, it stayed there on the world map, but upon entering the settlement time started passing and the mission expired; when I exited back to the world map that mission was gone. Is that not the behavior you get? |

The mission did expire eventually; I'm not sure what caused it to expire. |
