Heavy Beam Turret

| Stationary defense platform mounting a massive long-range beam cannon.|
The beam can vaporize multiple smaller craft in one blast, or do heavy damage to a larger target.
Heavy Beam: Picks a target ship and attacks it. If the target ship's health is reduced to 0, the beam continues on to a second ship. The beam will hop ships until it has done the entirety of its listed damage.
This does not qualify as Area of Effect damage for the purposes of Immunities.

A very powerful unit that is a powerful addition to any defense.
Note however the decreasing ship cap as the Mark level increases.
